Beauty Tip of the Week – Faux Freckles

Freckles are officially the new beauty craze! From Kendall Jenner, to some of the biggest names backstage, everyone’s either flaunting them or faking them.

Why Freckles?
Freckles are a sign of youth and natural looking skin. In fact, women who have some pigmentation are now covering the pigmentation and adding faux freckles on top, and the results are gorgeous!

So here’s an easy breakdown for you to get the look.
What you need:
1-A waterproof, long wearing, eyebrow gel or pencil.
2-A good mattifying powder. We love Invisible Powder by Laura Mercier, for how versatile and translucent it is.
3-A Powder Pouf

What you need to do:
First, apply a good matte powder as a base on which the faux freckles will set, and at the same time conceal any pigmentation or uneven skin patches.

Next, dip a very fine eye liner brush in the eye brow gel and gently dot across the cheeks and the bridge of nose.
If you are lucky enough to already have freckles, just add in the same area to enhance them.

Once you apply the freckles, gently press each freckle with your finger tips to blend and give a natural finish.

Lastly, tap or blot the skin with your powder pouf to set the freckles.

Voila! Freckles so real, no one will ever know the difference!
