For Spring and Summer 2021, we can easily notice that Hussein Bazaza did things differently. He embraced the Beirut explosion of the 4th of August and transformed it into beautiful pieces of art. To do so, he reflected through his creations the emotional cold of 2020 even though they are meant for a hot season while his color palette was dominated with pastel hues such as lemonade yellow, blush pink and mint green that were mixed with bold colors like maroon, navy, burnt orange and black.
Some of the pieces hold an even bigger specialty as they were hand painted by Hussein Bazaza himself as a way to express his feelings. All in all, the collection stands out through many details especially that the brand chose this time to focus more on tailored monochromatic pieces instead of beadwork and embroidery, shedding the light on the rawness of the designs.
