All types of relationships require continuous work as you can never get to completely know someone. No matter how long we’ve known a person, we discover new things about them every once in a while. However, some people find it hard to communicate or “let someone in” even after knowing them for a long time. That’s why we put together some questions and ideas you can discuss to get to know each other better.

Strengthen your relationship with a friend, family member, your partner, coworker or any of your acquaintances by taking the below into consideration:

  • You can start a game of truth or dare and explore each other’s limits, even if you’re only 2 persons. This also works remotely with all the technologies available now.
  • Tell each other which place would you choose if you could be anywhere in the world, and give 3 solid reasons why.
  • Describe your perfect day off and try to achieve it together.
  • Discover each other’s favorites. Between the color, type of car, book, song, painter, artist, and many more, you’ll have a lot to know.
  • Learn more about the things you can’t tolerate like lying, cheating, noises, actions… believe me your dislikes will bring you close as well, not only the things you like are the ones you can have in common.
  • What’s your biggest regret? Is there something you wish you didn’t do? What would you have done differently?
  • Ask about the funniest moment they can’t forget, and have a laugh together.
  • Share your best received gifts or wish to receive (and take notes for their next birthday).
  • What’s your dream in life? Did it come true? If not, how can you work on it together?
  • Sometimes it’s not all about the talking, doing things together also helps a lot. So, try new things together or visit places you’ve never been to and explore the world hand in hand.
