From the engagement to the wedding and then marriage, this period in the life of a couple is eventful and filled with joy. With this in mind, the best way to commemorate these milestones is with rings that a woman brags about and never takes off. Yes, rings not ring, because every occasion is commemorated with one andhere’s why.

Starting with the first promise to continue your life together, the engagement ring is the first one a woman receives from her future husband. In fact, the trend of the diamond engagement ring that we wear today goes back to 1477 when Archduke Maximillian of Austria presented it to his fiancé when he proposed to her. If the proposal is accepted, the woman usually wears it in the ring finger of her right hand and removes it on the wedding day to put it back on later on her left ring finger on top of her wedding band.

On the wedding day, the bride and groom wear a wedding band as a symbol of eternal love. Coming in a variety of styles and usually made of platinum and white gold, this ring was only worn by wives in the past and it adorns the left ring finger.

Finally, the eternity rings! Traditionally, this type of rings is given on anniversaries or the birth of the couple’s first child. Also known as infinity rings, they are the most luxurious symbol of eternal love and are formed by a line of identically cut diamonds set in gold. Now are you wondering where should you wear it? While some people believe it should be worn on top of your wedding and engagement rings, some others think it should be worn in the middle finger. And if your engagement ring is too big, you can wear your eternity ring in the right hand.
