We might not feel as interested in fashion and accessories as we used to be right now, and understandably so, but life is coming back soon and it’s important to keep our spirits up and dream of the fashion world as it was, and hopefully will be.
Enter: Roger Vivier. The buckle creation is definitely one of the brand’s iconic marvels that distinguishes the House with its elegance. First seen in 1965, it is still a wondrous marvel today. With a few touches here and there over the years, we were lucky to witness different amazing buckle types. Today, in celebration of the buckle’s 55th anniversary, the House’s Creative Director, Gherardo Felloni pampered us with a modern shoe and bag collection designed with a new signature buckle and inspired by the 1960s Belle Vivier. Between the retro look and the two different heights of the Très Vivier chunky heels, we’re smiling a little again. And that’s not all, our talented designer also added his new buckle to the Viv’ Run sneakers, Roger Vivier’s first running shoe.
But maybe we can say that from this SS20 collection, our all-time favorites are the Belle Vivier pumps, because they were reimagined with different materials, buckle styles and colors – we’re talking leather, some polished metal and amazing crystals. With everything we are going through, these little marvels can make a small difference and lift our spirits!
