We are all aware of how hot can summer in the Gulf be and this should never stand in the way of rendering your garden a haven to spend in your breezy nights or your hot days – if you’d like to enjoy some sun! Flowers are such wonderful elements to add color and vibrancy to your outdoors and finding some no-fuss ones to do so is a dream coming true.

Well, believe it or not, it’s indeed coming true and here are 5 flowers that will easily survive summer heat!

The Golden barrel cactus is a great way to decorate a corner of your garden, with small flowers appearing on the top of its rounded shape and brightening up the atmosphere with their yellow and orange shades.

The Frangipani tree, also known as Plumeria, is another element that thrives in direct sunlight and tolerates drought – which makes it a great fit for a Gulf garden.

The Purple Heart is more fit for a shady corner in your garden. It is used to hot and dry conditions but you need to keep an eye on it during the hottest months.

You can also add some sunshine to your garden with the Yellow Trumpet Flower, which is a sun-loving plant with a moderate tolerance to salt and drought.

Ending our list is the Vinca Flower. Looking its best in hot humid conditions and direct sunlight, it blooms all year round and produces white, pink, red and purple variations – making your garden ever-so-colorful.
