Amidst the social distancing and the idea of a new world, Pierpaolo Piccioli expresses his dreams through Valentino’s Fall/Winter 2020-21 advertising campaign. As our connections within our own community continue to make us stronger, empathy continues to connect us. It also inspires the new Valentino project and celebrates society as it is – bringing this campaign to life.
Worldwide acclaimed artists, models and friends of the house will come together in this ad campaign. The likes of Anwar Hadid, Christy Turlington, Gwyneth Paltrow, Mustafa the Poet, Laetitia Casta and Naomi Campbell – to name a few – will be captured in the place where they are spending these difficult moments with their loved ones. Dressed in looks from the Fall/Winter 2020-21 collection, their portraits will be taken by someone with whom they are sharing this difficult moment and the latter will be credited as well as their relationship with the talent.
By donating their presence for this project, their participation brought a 1-million-euro donation to the Italian Lazzaro Spallanzani Hospital in Rome fighting against COVID-19. The Maison will also continue to work with the hospital on medium and long-term projects, and will make sure that this hub continues to operate effectively in light of this long-lasting emergency.
