Wedding Guests - The Do’s and Don’ts

So you’ve been invited to a wedding, awesome! Now we know the first thought that comes to mind is probably “What should I wear”, but there are so many things you should also think about, that sometimes it just seems impossible to juggle everything all at once. Like for example, how not to piss off the guests of honor- cause when push comes to shove, you really don’t want the wrath of the bride and groom unleashed upon you.

At the risk of sounding extremely cliché, everything you say or do during a wedding just has to revolve around the bride- that’s the sad truth. So before deciding on your own rules, take a moment to think about the golden rules of a wedding!

First and foremost, do be on time. Arriving late to a wedding is a recipe for disaster and just plain rude!

If it’s not mentioned on the invitation card that you can bring a guest, then for the love of God, don’t bring a guest.

We know you have a very busy life and you’re probably on global leaders’ speed dials, but we think the world can wait an hour or so, don’t you? So please do put your cellphone on silent mode!

The bride gets dibs on the white dress and you can have any other color you want. So don’t be that girl, will you?

Do dress for the venue. Enough said.

But most importantly, do have fun! Even if the cocktail party is so boring that you’d rather be cleaning your own apartment, just act alive- that’s all they’re asking from you!
