Tattoo for Eyebrows

If you are a fan of permanent makeup, the first part you think of are your eyebrows. If yours are thin and you would like to achieve a trendier and more modern shape, tattoo is the only fast option for long-term results. Need to know more about this procedure? Here are some tips to help you make your decision, because once you go down this road, there is no turning back!

First, you want subtle and natural looking eyebrows, and to achieve the desired results, ask the specialist to opt for “brushstrokes” that mimic the appearance of real eyebrow hairs and fill your sparse brows. Know that the process might be a little painful, even with the numbing cream, and takes about two hours, during which you will feel like someone is scratching your face.

The specialist will outline the ideal brow shape for your face with a pencil before starting the tattoo process. When it comes to color, stay away from black as the latter will turn into a yellowish grey with time, and this is something you certainly don’t want to happen. The darkest color to choose should be dark brown in order to avoid undesirable results, and if you like to continuously play with your hair color, we suggest you go for a lighter shade.

Prepare yourself for a shock when you look at the final results in the mirror. You will realize that your eyebrows look very different and the color will seem very dark for the first two days. Don’t be scared, as it will start to fade with time until it gets natural and subtle in a matter of one week. However, after 10 minutes and a few stolen glances at the mirror, you will start loving them.

Now that your eyebrows are tattooed, you should find a way to keep them dry for a whole week, as wetting them during this time can cause pigment loss. We suggest you use a washcloth to clean your face in order to avoid wetting them. After all, you don’t want to ruin your new marvels, right? One more tip, moisture in all its forms can cause damage to them, so avoid exercising as well.

After four weeks, you will need a complimentary touch-up in order to make adjustments, if there are any to be made. Your beautiful new brows will last for one year, so choose wisely because there is no room for regret!
