An unexpected departure has hit the House of Schiaparelli, what with the end of its collaboration with its Creative Director Bertrand Guyon. The latter had taken the reins of the Maison for just about 4 fabulous years, re-introducing it to the Haute Couture schedule and re-imagining its presence in all its glory. The brand owned by Diego Della Valle had also undergone a few changes, one of them being the introduction of a Pret-a-Porter see-now-buy-now collection.

And so, after four life-changing years under the artistic direction of Bertrand Guyon, the House has now announced the appointment of a new Creative Director, US designer Daniel Roseberry who’s a graduate from the New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology and who has worked as a design director for both menswear and womenswear at Thom Browne.

We personally can’t wait to see what’s in store for us in Schiaparelli’s new chapter!
