Revisiting its Capri-inspired Tonda 1950 – which features a dial made of a disc of turquoise – Parmigiani Fleurier creates a timepiece with a natural mineral structure and a design that highlights the beauty of stone. For a harmonious interaction of colors and materials, the brand chose aventurine, a gemstone whose natural color underwent a brightening boost.

 “Aventurine” derives from the Italian expression “a l’avventura”, which means “by chance”. Therefore, it embodies the spirit of freedom and knowledge in line with the spirit of Parmigiani Fleurier. In the quest for an intense bright color, the brand came up with a shade of red fit for royalty, giving this watch a burst of life. The red aventurine beautifully marries with the pink gold of the case and bracelet, while the ruby that tops the crown adds a final touch to this vibrant composition.

The timepiece’s classic design is supplied with Delta-shaped hour and minute hands, a diamond-set bezel and lugs, as well as an ultra-thin Manufacture caliber.
