Stacking jewelry is a trend that has been around for so long, but it has made a major comeback this year – filling jewelry lovers with creativity. To modernly master this trend, a few golden rules are to be kept in mind, whether your game is about rings, necklaces or bracelets.

Stacking is mainly about choosing jewelry pieces that are fine but still pack a statement, instead of opting for one oversized necklace, bracelet or ring. The way to make this trend modern is to play with the sizes of the jewelry pieces. Mix between small, medium sized and large pieces when stacking bracelets and rings, while making sure not to include more than one large piece that is neither overcharged with large gemstones nor made of thick metal.

Stacking necklaces is an art in its own right, as these pieces are harder to stack. In addition to playing with thicknesses, there is the length of each necklace that should also be taken into consideration. To make things clearer, accompany an ordinary necklace with a simple chocker and a sautoir to achieve the desired look and stand out.

Mix between metal tones and textures to personalize your stack or create an ombré effect by starting with a white gold piece, followed by a pink gold one and top the two off with a yellow gold jewelry creation. Don’t forget to pair a new jewelry piece with an old one to add a vintage touch to your look.
