Moschino Announces Design Collaboration With H&M

It was during Jeremy Scott’s Annual Desert Party at Coachella that Moschino’s next design collaboration was revealed. Indeed, the Italian brand partners-up with H&M to unveil a collection that would be available online and in select H&M stores worldwide from November 8. And here’s how it all happened…

An Instagram video call from Gigi Hadid to her friend Jeremy Scott was projected on digital screens at the annual Moschino party in Coachella, California and live broadcasted on @moschino and @hm, surprising guests with the big news at midnight.

Both the model and the designer were dressed in the first looks from the Moschino [tv] H&M collection, revealing a vivacious and playful spirit, worthy of the brand’s core values. The collection includes a series of both women and men’s clothing, alongside a full range of accessories and some extra surprises as well.

“I am so excited about Moschino [tv] H&M. My life’s work has been to connect with people through fashion, and with this collaboration I’ll be able to reach more of my fans than I’ve ever had the ability to do,” stated Jeremy Scott, Creative Director of Moschino.

“Moschino [tv] H&M is the perfect collaboration for fashion right now, mixing together pop, street culture, logos and also glamour.

Jeremy Scott is amazing – he knows how to have fun with fashion, and to connect with his fans around the world,” commented Ann-Sofie Johansson, Creative Advisor, H&M. As for the campaign, it is pegged as an innovative TV concept blending social and traditional media to create a multi-platform takeover and a captivating new “zapping” experience for the digital world.

The party was a true success, gathering worldwide celebrities and A-listers, from Gigi Hadid to Emily Ratajkowski to Charli XCX and so many more stars.
