There is no better place than the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie to celebrate the memory of a pioneering journey that began in the world of watchmaking. Therefore, Montblanc’s Ambassadors Hugh Jackman, Charlotte Casiraghi and Guey Lun- Mei joined the house to celebrate this occasion in an event inspired by the great Atlantic crossings of the early 20th century.

Along with the brand’s ambassadors and CEO Jérôme Lambert, friends of Montblanc – such as actor and director Pierre Niney, design icon Marc Newson, actress Macarena Gomez and director and singer Aldo Comas – were included in the guest list. The cocktails saw a musical trio performing pieces heard aboard the great ocean liners. Glowing lanterns surrounded the place, while Art Nouveau and Art Deco furniture elegantly filled it.

Showcased against this backdrop were new Montblanc timepieces from the 4810 collection, which finds its inspiration in the golden age of travel. These watches perfectly meet the modern travellers’ need for high-performance timekeeping. To give guests the opportunity to discover the house’s keen attention for tradition, a watchmaking artisan was performing live at the event.

Montblanc’s first pocket watch, Montblanc 4810 Orbis Terrarum Pocket Watch Limited Edition was among the pieces that were on display, along with the Montblanc ExoTourbillon Slim that features a new in-house movement, the Montblanc 4810 TwinFly Chronograph 110 Years Edition that includes a flyback chronograph and the Montblanc Collection Villeret Tourbillon Cylindrique Pocket Watch 110 Years Edition, which is limited to 8 pieces and features a triple zone indication.

During that evening, a dazzling Montblanc Bohème Perpetual Calendar adorned the wrist of Charlotte Casiraghi, while Guey Lun-Mei elegantly wore a Bohème Day & Night watch and Hugh Jackman chose the new Timewalker ExoTourbillon Minute Chronograph timepiece that was launched at the SIHH.
