Miuccia Prada once said that “what you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today when human contacts go so fast", "fashion is instant language” she added, and this season, I must admit that her line left me speechless.
Lady Prada got inspired by colorful, funky patterns for summer. The Italian designer crafted a retro line, which was full of swag. Round shoulders and bulky colorful boots guided the line. Over-sized jackets and coats were embellished with stunning geometrical patterns. Models – who wore their lips dark and their hair back with a headband –marched down the runway with assurance and attitude. Next summer, the Miu Miu girl won’t be shy. She’ll be confident and feisty. Mustard furred accessories and leather jackets with colorful patches will invade her beautiful wardrobe. She’ll steal the limelight thanks to her cat-eyed shades and feather necklaces – and will surely break quite a few hearts with her dark sheer skirts and dresses. But what can she do? She's simply and quite frankly the most stylish lady in town.
