How to Recreate Cara Delevingne's YSL Red Carpet Look

Cara Delevingne looked incredible as always at the New York red carpet Premier of "Paper Towns" this week. Even though she always looks effortlessly glowing, with the help of a list of her YSL goodies you can create this look at home. Since this is Cara's first leading role, her makeup artist Molly R. Stern wanted to create a fresh bold look with her red lips as the main focus.

Here are a few steps to recreate this look with products you probably already own and a few YSL must haves to get the best effect.

SKIN
Using your favorite foundation, start off with a base of flawless skin. Highlight under the eyes with YSL's Touch Éclat, she used a light color but #5 Luminous Honey works best for olive Middle Eastern skin tones. Use a soft natural looking blush for this minimal-effort look. Remember your lips are the star of the show so we just want to create a nice clean palette.

EYES
The eyes are a basic every day eye. Apply a dark brown shade - I love using a matte bronzer for this step in the crease. Make the lid pop with a nude hue (like what you would use as a base or under your brows) that highlights and brightens up your skin tone.  Fill in your brows using YSL Couture Brow in #1 Glazed Brown. This literally just goes on like mascara and is so easy to use. Cara is known for her gorgeous strong brows so this step is important for this look. Her artist used #2 Ash Blond so if your brows are on the lighter side use this one as well.

Tip: Lighten your brows about two shades to give a softer look rather than having really dark black brows, especially if you have lightened up your hair color for summer. Using your base hair color on your brows is the easiest way to go, next time you go in for color ask your hairdresser to do your brows as well.

You can use any mascara but if you really want that red carpet fake lash look, go for YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faucils #1. It provides instant volume and lengthens which makes it hard to go back to your old mascara once you've tried it.

LIPS
Rouge Pur Couture
#14  is the YSL lipstick that Cara wore. This universal shade looks great on almost every skin tone and is the easiest way to achieve this look instantly in one step.
