A face by Peter Philips is never a disappointment as he is a genius when it comes to creating a natural and breezy look for a modern woman. Drawing inspiration from the rich colors of the Californian desert, the beauty look was streamlined and sunny – forming a great inspiration for us just in time for summer.

"I wanted to use the warm, organic, and earthy tones of the desert, just like in Georgia O'Keefe's paintings. I wanted a natural but slightly unpolished “warm glow” effect, the way you look after physical activity. I used earthy and orangey colors so the girls looked like they had spent an afternoon in the sun and the wind."

The skin was first prepared using Diorskin Forever & Ever Wear Primer, then evened out with Diorskin Forever Fluid Foundation and Compact, as well as the new Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer. To give this look a luminous touch, he used Rouge Dior lipstick in Ready as blush, due to its slightly earthy shade that evokes the desert. To finish off, a touch of Flash Luminizer Radiance Booster Pen was applied to the areas that catch the light along with a light veil of Diorskin Nude Air Loose Powder.

Also embellished with warm earthy hues, the eyes were made up with a soft sweep of the brick shade from the 5 Couleurs Inflame palette applied to the center of the eyelids. Lashes were bare and eyebrows were defined with Diorshow Brow Styler in Universal Brown.

The lips were also left soft and naturally polished with Dior Addict Lip Sugar Scrub and nails were left bare. All this look needed was Guido Palau’s smooth and loosely tied up hairstyle.
