Besides it being a perfect way to bond, shopping with a girlfriend is always great to share tips and tricks. I recently went to the MAC counter with a friend and she told me about her Fix + Powder trick. I knew of using it with eyeshadow and spraying it on at the end of make up application, but this was something new. She said to spray your powder brush with Fix + and then insert it into your powder and apply. I couldn’t wait to try it and to my surprise it looked so nice and smooth when I did! You have to play around with the amount of powder and moisture on the brush so it doesn't look muddy. The best way to avoid this is to kinda just buff it out. I love this look especially for my T zone. I really felt like it was the answer to hiding those large pores on my nose. 

Another way to use Fix + for your base is while applying foundation. Apply your first or second layer depending on how heavy you want your coverage to be. Then spray your face generously. Have I mentioned I love the scent of Fix +? Now grab your beauty blender and press in your foundation all over, this will give it that skin like smooth texture.
