Festive Eye Makeup

With all the natural makeup looks, smokey makeup has been a thing of the past. But I always like to go back to this look during festive celebrations. Hot and dramatic eyes are never out of style, just make sure to never wear this look before the sun sets!

Start off with your eyes so you don’t make a mess. The first thing you need is a primer, but I like to use a creaseless cream eyeshadow for this look instead; Benefit’s “Birthday Suit” is easy to apply with your ring finger and perfect for layering. Don’t go past your crease.

Use any bluish grey sparkly shade and pack it on your lid. URBAN DECAY Eyeshadow in Moondust is my favorite, but it will get a little messy so have your make up wipes handy.

Make sure you use a clean crease brush to add a cool tone brown like MAC’s “cork” to blend. I normally use warm tones for my crease, but that doesn’t go with these shades.

Use any nude skin tone shade to go over your brow; I like to use a little concealer here too.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil is perfect for your waterline. Using a matte black shadow and a flat tiny brush and smudge it out on your under-eye area. Don’t worry about getting messy just clean it up with your makeup remover wipe to make a clean line.

Sometimes when I do this look it’s almost time to head out the door and I start to think “what a mess!” but once I apply my fake lashes and mascara it magically brings it all together. Huda Beauty Mink Lash Bridget 16 is perfect for this look.
