In celebration of its 50th anniversary, Bottega Veneta has revived its oldies and proved to the fashion scene that everything is about timelessness. For its Spring-Summer 2017 collection, the house goes back in time to the late 1970s, when it first presented the Lauren clutch entirely made of Intrecciato Nappa leather.
The latter reached a new level of fame when it appeared in the 1980’s movie, American Gigolò, carried by actress Lauren Hutton. To revive this memorable happening, the house’s Spring 2017 fashion show witnessed the actress walking down the runway carrying the clutch once again in its new edition named “The Lauren 1980” in honor of the supermodel and the year in which the movie was released.
Available exclusively in the Gigolo Red color, a tag inside engraved with “The Lauren 1980” marks the uniqueness of this limited edition clutch. We cannot wait until we put our hands on our piece, what about you?
