We are seeing it everywhere, designers are inspired by it, and makeup artists backstage are creating it! Intergalactic is the next trend coming our way, with elements of shine, metal, darkness and all things “outer-worldly.”

This look is best reserved for a night in the town. There are no color restrictions; however, the bolder the better. The secret here is texture: Shine, metal, sparkle and lots of it. 

The trick: work either your eyes or lips.

Start by prepping your skin with a good primer followed by foundation application. The dewy-er the skin the better.

You can line your eyes with a simple metallic liner, or add intense color from the lid to the brow bone.

Apply a metallic eyeshadow on the lids, blending in a darker shade at the crease. Impact is everything here. 

Finish off with a dash of extra sparkle on the center of the lid to add an intergalactic pop! You can use glitter or eye gloss.

Another option for eyes is to go all black with a dash of sparkle on top, giving them an ultimate "dark matter" effect.
