Gold is HUGE in 2018! This is one of many trends making its mark this year.  

Of course, we are all familiar with highlights and the magic it conveys, except this time we are taking it up a notch. It’s not your average ivory, champagne, or pearlescent, as highlights are going solid gold this year and we are loving it.

More or less, it’s about application and placement of color, so key areas would be the inner corner of the eye, brow bone, Cupid’s bow, and even lips. 

Metallic gold is pretty much a thing at the moment and some brands to look out for are Nars, Fenty Beauty, and Danessa Myricks, which are available online. 

You can also create this look without going to a makeup counter and indulging in a new product. If you have Gold pigment powder or eyeshadow, mix in the powder with your primer and notice how the shine goes a long way.
