All the Celebrities at CHANEL’s Mademoiselle Privé Exhibition in Shanghai

It’s at the West Bund Art Center in Shanghai that CHANEL unveiled its fourth chapter of the "Mademoiselle Privé" exhibition, telling the tale of an immersive journey through the origins of CHANEL’s creations and capturing the charismatic personality, audacity and irreverent spirit of Mademoiselle Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld.

And so, the exhibition brings forth three emblematic addresses, all of which come to life in the form of three houses, where each one is a fantastic immersion into the sources of CHANEL’s creative process. The addresses translated into 31 rue Cambon, the mythical address housing the Creation Studio and the Haute Couture ateliers, 18 Place Vendôme dedicated to the High Jewelry and Grasse, where the perfumer Ernest Beaux and Gabrielle Chanel together created CHANEL N°5 in 1921.

The House also launched a "Mademoiselle Privé" WeChat service account to enhance the visitors’ experience, who could listen to the introduction part of an audio guide specially recorded by CHANEL ambassador Zhou Xun on the mini-program. With this in mind, you could only imagine the intensity of the exhibition, as guests reveled in a private viewing followed by a celebration of the opening on the ground floor of the West Bund Art Center, with live performances by singer DuaLipa, Ibeyi and DJ James Righton. Guests included CHANEL ambassadors Keira Knightley, Caroline de Maigret, Zhou Xun, Liu Wen, William Chan, Jelly Lin, Victoria Song, as well as actresses Julianne Moore, Dilraba and Ning Chang and actor Jing Boran.
