Best Fine Jewelry for Spring

One trend that pops up in a big way during spring is blossom inspired jewels. The jewel colors to note? Pinks, lavenders and mauves with accents of gold and diamond thrown in to add some sparkle.

Interestingly, the Giardini Segreti (Secret Gardens) collection is dedicated to the hidden gardens and secret courtyards of Milan. “It is fascinating and gives a real sense of joy to see how a tree wears its leaves in the dazzle of daylight,” says Eugenia Bruni, Creative Director-Pasquale Bruni.

The Piaget rose became a house design motif as a result of Yves Piaget’s undiluted love for roses – and the stylized rose continues to inspire many beautiful creations by the Maison. One of the earliest Spring blossoms, the beautiful Crocus flowers and its purple-mauve inspired Ilgiz F to create his enameled statement ring, while sweetpea flowers prompted Katherine Jetter to fashion a dangler with sapphire briolettes.

While Graff turned to nature and creates a floral bangle adorned with colored diamonds, Carlo Palmiero decided to encrust the petals of his rose jewel with precious gems using pavé technique.

Vania Leles’ Enchanted Garden collection, for her line VanLeles, is an attempt to capture the beauty in nature, whereby roses, gardenias, cherry blossoms and orchids have been transformed into a floral tribute. Peony blossoms inspired Sarah Ho, while cherry blossoms sparked its namesake collection by Pamela Hastry for her brand, Morphée Joaillerie. Fei Liu’s clever design for the Allure platinum jewel bagged him an award, especially since it has a ring with pendant option and serves our craving for multipurpose jewels.
